Hand-Dipped Paraffin Tapers, Traditional Wicking

Paraffin taper candles by the pair, hand-dipped with hand-twisted hemp wicking in the pre-1800's style. Quality, high temperature paraffin gives the candle the look of a traditional white beeswax taper at less cost. 5/8" base (most "standard" taper holders from 5/8" to 3/4"). A perfect choice for a classic look for historical re-enactment, movie sets, or just people with classic tastes. Experience a bit of history.

Traditional wicking such as this does not curl as the candle burns, so it must be trimmed after each use (to 1/4 inch) and should be snuffed to extinguish. Candles shown with wicks still paired. The wicks must be cut before the first use.

These are sized for most "standard" taper holders. If they are a touch two narrow for your candle holder, try a small piece of aluminum foil around the base.
