Hand spun yarn, mostly by spinning wheel, some on a drop spindle. We use a mix of fibers, raising Angora rabbits ourselves, experimenting with colored upland cotton, and obtaining wool of various kinds from local farms, including sheep's wool, llama, alpaca, occasional mohair. We will sometimes purchase special fibers for blending or other purposes (linen, cottons, soy or bamboo fiber, silk, etc.). Yarn is often natural or hand-dyed; we do some natural plant dyes as noted in descriptions

We do custom spinning for your special project, will attempt to match colors, and will process your wool on trade (mill tax system— we keep some of the wool and process the rest) or fee.
