I got in a recent discussion in another site on how technology changes your power usage. If you have solar panels and a battery bank, for instance, you begin using less energy habitually and find you do not need as much as you thought you did. This remains true even when your power budget is no longer constrained and you simply put more thought into the way you work.
In the summer season, many people depend on their air conditioning to stay comfortable and A/C is a big consumer of electricity. I thought it was appropriate to post some tips on beating the heat and using less energy.
