Our Shetland Ewes are starting to lamb. We woke up Friday morning to two newborn lambs. Cassiopeia, our black Shetland ewe, had black and white twins, one ewe and one ram lamb. They were up and about immediately and are busy bouncing and prancing all over the pasture today. We have three more pregnant ewes who may lamb at any moment.
I have finally gotten posted a series of major updates to Pages From An Ozark Herbal, our online notebook of medicinal and edible plants in the Missouri Ozarks. The changes include over a dozen new entries, more sources in the annotated bibliography, more photos and drawings, plus a host of corrections to existing text. Almost all pages now have a "Last Updated" entry at the bottom of the page so that you can tell what has changed.
Don't forget our article on early spring edibles now that spring has sprung again!
