Spent a good bit of the last few days preparing to pour candles to rebuild our stock. I also have this blasted flu that much of the city has and I'm running around with a bottle of hand-sanitizer every time I touch anything for sale. We tend to build up products damaged in moving or storage throughout the season, so there is a lot in the wax graveyard (recycle bin) to melt down and reuse. On a lark, I decided to burn test one of the only pillar candles we made from a batch of local beeswax we got last year and was destined to be recycled.

It didn't burn.
